Hancock 2 In The Works
We saw “Hancock 1” and we liked it after its slow start. Now it’s been confirmed by the first films stars, Will Smith and Charlize Theron that there will be a number two. The first film is about an alcoholic, bitter superhero (Smith) who gets an image makeover by a publicist (Jason Bateman) who just happens to be married to the world’s second secret superhero ( Theron). The second installment, however, will introduce a new superhero though. But right now the film’s producers are keeping the whole thing under a veil of secrecy. We think it’s because they don’t even have a screenplay written et so they don’t even have a clue.
“Hancock” grossed $227,946,274 in the United States, $396,440,472 and $624,386,746 world wide. Who knew? That’s why they’re doing a second one obviously.
