Watched the Hancock Extended Trailer?

July 12, 2008 by Richie

I’ve watched the Hancock extended trailer, and back then even if the movie wasn’t out yet I was already excited to watch it because the scenes in the trailer seemed nice. It gave me an idea as to what to expect from the full length film the moment it hits the big screens in my local cinema or movie house. Through the trailer I was able to make sure when the movie starts showing in the local theaters and it even told me that Will Smith will be starring as the lead role in the movie.

Generally this is what short video clips such as the Hancock trailer are supposed to do. Trailers are short video clips made up of a collection of scenes from a full length film, whether important or transitory, that are presented in a way that it gives the expecting audience a taste of what is in store for them when they finally get to watch the full version of the movie. Most trailers are short but they already give a lot of information on the movie, which attracts audience to watch it. Put quite simply, trailers are advertisements of movies that have been recently produced and will be available for public consumption soon.

But still, the trailer is not intended to replace the movie entirely. As a matter of fact, there are even people who watch the movie Hancock without even having to watch the trailer in the first place and they still enjoy it anyway.
